ExteNet Systems just recently announced that the Cleveland Medical Mart and Convention Center, located in Cleveland, Ohio, will implement its services and expertise in order to design, install, manage and maintain a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) network. The CMMCC, which measures over 1,000,000 square feet, was designed to be the largest indoor facility for the medical and healthcare industry in the United States. ExteNet is going to be integrated public safety for CMMCC as well as enabling network connectivity and communications throughout the facility.
The CMMCC is scheduled to open in 2013 and will include a 235,000-square-foot medical showroom, 230,000-square-foot exhibition hall, 60,000-square-foot conference room with HD display systems and video-conferencing capabilities and a 30,000-square-foot grand ballroom. In addition to that, the sophisticated, high-tech facility was designed to become the center of the largest concentration of medical leadership in the United States.
